The Centre of Excellence for Energy Research (CEER), a leading research hub focusing on sustainable energy technologies, was established under the MHRD, Government of India's Frontier Areas of Science and Technology (FAST) scheme. The centre was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India, on December 9, 2014, in the august presence of Col.
